About SIGMA Corporation

SIGMA is a New Jersey, USA Corporation, in business since 1985. SIGMA’s core products have been Waterworks pipe fittings and accessories, in CI and DI, as per the AWWA/ANSI standards C110/A21.10 and C153/A21.53. We pioneered production of these pipe fittings in China starting in 1985 and since then we have steadily grown to be the second largest AWWA pipe fittings supplier in USA!

Today SIGMA offers the widest range of pipe fittings in the industry and can satisfy every requirement on a job.. Our quality is ensured through proprietary quality systems that exceed the requirements of AWWA and other national standards. These are monitored by on-site SIGMA engineers who ensure all aspects of supply chain reliability. Our products also undergo third party inspection by UL and FM (Factory Mutual) on a regular basis.

SIGMA GROUP
As part of the consolidation of the various operating companies, the SIGMA International Group, Inc was created as a holding company that owns SIGMA Corporation, Russell Pipe Sales Corporation, Russell Pipe & Foundry Inc., Miland Realty Corporation. The group company formalized the existing relationships between the operating companies that had been forged through common ownership. In addition to the subsidiaries, SIG also has an affiliate in Mexico (SIMEX) which is involved in the sale of products to the Mexican waterworks industry and an affiliate in UK (Sigma Commercial Products Limited) that services the waterworks industry in Europe.

RUSSELL PIPE
Russell Pipe Sales Corporation has merged with SIGMA Corporation which continues to service the market through its sales office and distribution center in Alexander City, Alabama and two satellite warehouses in Rockingham, NC and Orlando, Florida. The merger has been seamless with no change in the people in the sales, operations and management of the territory. Russell had been selling SIGMA branded products since 1991.

SIMEX
SIMEX is an affiliate company of SIGMA located in Mexico and is an importer-distributor of valves for water and industrial applications, fittings, gibault joints, couplings and municipal castings. SIMEX has built a reputation of good quality, prompt delivery and strong sales support with its experienced sales staff and a well stocked centrally located warehouse in Guadalajara.

SIGMA CHINA OFFICE (SCO)
The SIGMA China Office provides technical support to our production units in China and also enhances the supply chain activities due to the increased demands resulting from the growth of business, especially in the OEM supply side. The office has engineers who provide vendor support and supply chain management. It also does CAD work for the our China production facilities.

SIGMA INDIA LIASON OFFICE (SILO)
SILO is the technical backend office that has been established in the southern city of Coimbatore, India to monitor the quality assurance programs in our production facilities in India and China. They have qualified and experienced foundry and metallurgical engineers whose task is to constantly review the material test reports sent by the foundries. They are also involved in assisting with new product development as well as helping with the supply logistics out of India. SILO does the technical backoffice work for SIGMA in terms of CAD and Finite Element Analysis.
