SIGMA Saves the Day: Bailey Root
SIGMA Saves the Day in Colorado!
Congratulations and thanks to Bailey Root, ISR/CSR in SIGMA’s Denver office for showcasing the best of SIGMA and helping a customer out of an emergency situation.
One recent Saturday, Bailey received a call from a customer in urgent need of some 20” sleeves and restraints to repair a water main break in Arapahoe County that had left three commercial buildings and an entire subdivision without water for three days. The customer reported that the insulated line could not be repaired so they had to backtrack until they found some ductile iron and install a valve to shut off the line. Bailey explains: “I jumped on my laptop and verified that we had the inventory they needed and agreed to meet them at our warehouse. I cancelled my plans for the day—thankfully my wife was understanding—and I headed over. I opened up the building, hopped on a forklift and pulled and wrapped the order. I had it ready when the guys arrived—I loaded them up and sent them on their way. The whole thing took about 2 hours.”
Great job, Bailey! Thank you for doing what SIGMA does best!
