SIGMA Welcomes Lance Huddleston, SIGMA Polymer Enclosures Product Manager, Southwest Region
SIGMA extends a warm welcome to Lance Huddleston, SIGMA Polymer Enclosures (SPE) Product Manager for the Southwest Region. Lance brings 20 years of professional sales and management experience to the role. A native of the Panhandle Region, Lance began his career in sales for the agricultural and oil industries, and then moved into the meter enclosures space. He covered the entire southwest region, and dealt with SIGMA often. He explains, “I had a lot of interaction with SIGMA both as a seller and a buyer and I found them to be a great company. Since we had already established a strong working relationship, I was confident that it would be a great fit.”
Southwest Regional Manager Greg McAdams comments, “We needed someone in our region with the expertise to lead SPE as a product manager. There is a lot of opportunity here, especially in Texas and Louisiana. Lance is familiar with the product line, he knows the people and the technology in the metering world, and he has relationships with the customer base. Basically, we hit the trifecta!”
Lance’s professional philosophy is perfectly aligned with SIGMA’s; he describes his approach: “Service sells—it’s that simple. We’ve got to take care of our customers. I will focus on spec writing and working with distributors.”
Lance holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Sports Medicine from Texas Tech University and is in the process of completing his MBA from there as well.
When he is not serving SIGMA’s SPE customers in the southwest, he is spending time with his wife and four children: 7-year old twin boys, a 2-year old boy, and a 10-month old girl. He is an avid hunter and fly fisherman, and enjoys time at the family’s vacation home in Colorado. He describes himself as an enthusiastic but terrible golfer: “My goal when I play is to try not to lose every ball in the bag.”
