National Product Manager

Role Description

To meet the fast-growing demand for polymer enclosures that satisfy the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) specifications adopted by utilities, SIGMA will be hiring a National Product Manager for this established product group.  The National Product Manager would be responsible for the planning and leading the growth of SIGMA’s well designed and suitably load tested and rated domestically produced polymer enclosure product group (meter boxes/meter pits/meter lids) as a separate growth unit.

The ideal candidate would have 5 to 10 years of experience in specification and sales work with any of the leading water meter manufacturers, working with utilities, prime contractors, and distribution groups.  This is a significant growth opportunity to build a separate dedicated sales team for the polymer enclosures for the water and electrical sectors, leveraging the company’s financial, operational, and manufacturing resources as well as excellent industry relationships.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

·       5-10 years of experience in specification and sales work.

·       A bachelor’s degree.

·       A strong sales presence and the will to succeed.

·       Proficient computer skills.

·       A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

·       Robust organizational skills, excellent at time-management and able to communicate with multiple parties inside our organization and with customers.

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
