SIGMA Welcomes Daniel Murphy SIGMA Poly Enclosures Sales Specialist, Florida

We send a warm welcome to Daniel Murphy, our new Sales Specialist for SIGMA Polymer Enclosures in Florida. Daniel brings 20 years of sales experience in the water infrastructure, polymer enclosures, oil, and gas industries to his new role at SIGMA. A native of Florida, Daniel served in the military in active duty and in the National Guard Special Forces before attending college at the University of Central Florida and joining the civilian workforce.    

Territory Sales Manager Jonathan Richardson comments on the hire: “SIGMA is devoting considerable resources to the Polymer Enclosures Division and making investments to ensure that our Florida customers are serviced efficiently. By bringing Daniel on board, we are increasing our capacity in the region. With this addition, we will be better able to meet specs, tailor products to particular municipalities, and respond quickly.” 

Daniel describes his sales approach as “Big picture. I don’t see a ‘one-size-fits-all solution for every customer, you have to get a deep understanding of the organization. I want to know everyone from the project superintendent and technician to the CapEx manager. You can’t be pushy. You need to build both rapport and relevance, and that’s a needle I strive to thread with every interaction.” 

When he’s not supporting the SIGMA Polymer Enclosures Team and serving the customers in Florida, Daniel enjoys family time, sports with his 7- and 11- year old children, and fishing.
