Dave Brugger Promoted to Regional Sales Manager, Midwest Region

Congratulations to Dave Brugger on his new role as SIGMA’s Midwest Regional Sales Manager. Dave started at SIGMA in 2012 as an Inside Sales Rep out of Chicago and quickly worked his way up through the ranks, moving into a management role for the branch. In 2015, an opportunity opened for a Territory Sales Manager of the Denver region, which Dave jumped on. Within just a few years, it was evident that a local warehouse facility was needed. He explains: “There was a lot of opportunity in Colorado, but because we were so new to the area, we had to put a lot of time into getting our products specified. It was a very entrepreneurial experience. As we became successful with specs and getting to know the Denver market, our customers’ confidence grew and the Denver location has been a huge success.”  

Vice President of Sales, Joe Webb, comments on the promotion: “Dave has been an invaluable asset to the SIGMA family since 2012 and has earned this opportunity. He has a unique skill set with both inside and outside sales experience at SIGMA and has proven successful at both. Congratulations to Dave and good luck in the new role!” 

Dave gained his knowledge of waterworks honestly. He grew up in the industry - having worked with his dad in the business since his teenage years. After graduating from the University of Central Michigan University with a Business Administration Degree, he took the inside sales job with SIGMA and began working toward an MBA at Keller Graduate School. When asked about his success, Dave explains, “I look at every situation from the customer’s perspective. I put myself in their shoes, which enables me to solve their problem—and that’s what we are here for.” 

When he’s not serving SIGMA’s customers, Dave enjoys hunting, golf, and coaching his three sons’ hockey teams. We congratulate Dave on his promotion and wish him much success in the new role.
