SIGMA Welcomes Mike Kennedy, Sales Rep for Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia

We extend a warm SIGMA welcome to Mike Kennedy, who will serve customers in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. Mike brings 35 year of industry experience to the table; he explains, “I was literally born into the business. My dad started Kennedy Companies of NJ and I used to load MJ fittings on trucks as a kid.”  Early on, Mike relocated to the Carolinas to advance his career and later moved to Maryland, all the while remaining in the waterworks supply world. He continues:  “I’ve worked on every side of the business from distribution to manufacturing to sales. I’ve been in the DelMarVa region for 15 years and I know the market well.” 

No stranger to SIGMA, Mike has sold our products for years. His approach to the business aligns well with SIGMA’s model:  “My sales philosophy is all about communication and responsiveness. My customers know that I will get back to them immediately. If I don’t have the answer right away, I will get it quickly.” 

National Sales Manager Joe Webb comments on the new hire:  “Mike is a great addition to the team. His knowledge of the market and his existing relationships will be an asset to both SIGMA and our customers.”

When he’s not serving waterworks customers in DelMarVa, Mike enjoys fishing, golf and staying in shape.
