SIGMA Welcomes Phil Boyle, SIGMA Polymer Enclosures Product Specialist for the Pacific Northwest

We send a warm welcome to Phil Boyle, our new Product Specialist for SIGMA Polymer Enclosures in the Pacific Northwest, covering Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and Alaska.  Based in the Portland, OR area, Phil has covered this territory in the enclosures space for the last several years. Prior to that, he worked as a regional sales manager in other sectors, so he understands the products, the unique water challenges in the west, and the customer base. He is passionate about customer relationships and explains his approach to sales and service: “Building relationships is key—customers need to know us to trust us. I am committed to making sure that we are at the center of every opportunity in the region by cultivating and nurturing customers and expanding on my existing relationships.”   

Western Regional Sales Manager Jon Taft comments on the hire:  “SIGMA is devoting considerable resources to the Polymer Enclosures Division and making investments to ensure that our customers in the Pacific Northwest are serviced efficiently. By bringing Phil on board, we are increasing our capacity in the region and we will be better able to meet specs, tailor products to particular municipalities, and respond quickly.” 

Phil explains what drew him to SIGMA:  “SIGMA has set the standard as a market leader.  I wanted to join SIGMA because of the growth opportunities here and the culture of innovation.  I am thrilled to be part of such a great team.” 

Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Phil emigrated to the US nearly two decades ago, as he puts it “Chasing a girl. Now we are married with three kids, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a goldfish.” 

Phil holds a Business Degree from Griffith College in Dublin.  When he is not serving SIGMA’s enclosure customers in the PNW, he enjoys getting outside with the dogs, spending time with his family, going to games, and playing football (or as it is known locally, soccer).
