SIGMA Welcomes Joe Bettis, Director of Business Development – Enclosures

SIGMA extends a warm welcome to Joe Bettis, Director of Business Development – Enclosures. Joe will be working closely with the sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to expand SIGMA’s presence in the enclosures market. Joe brings 30 years of experience in the utilities sector. The first 20 years of his career were spent in public works, where he rose through the ranks to serve in top municipal leadership positions. He then pivoted to utilities sales, and over the last decade has held leadership positions in regional, national, and global markets.   

Greg Fox, President of SIGMA, comments, “Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is exploding across the US.  SIGMA is well positioned to service this market with our nationwide manufacturing network for polymer enclosures and lids, and Joe is a great addition to support the targeted growth. He is the right person to help the SIGMA Polymer Enclosures division expand and optimize our markets.”  

Joe explains his approach:  “First and foremost I will prioritize customer relationships. That is always the key. My focus will be to provide effective solutions for public works and utilities. SIGMA has a great team and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”  

A well-respected waterworks professional, Joe is a long-time member of the Western Massachusetts Waterworks Association, and has served as both a Board Member and President of the organization.  

When he’s not developing business and selling SIGMA Polymer Enclosures, he enjoys woodworking, spending time outdoors, gardening, and cooking.
